Select from the set the items to be installed on the type of injector you are going to test.
Install the fitting (DL-CR 30238 or DL-CR 30225) to connect the supply to the clamping sleeve of the adapter body. If the injector has an angle of 13 degrees it is necessary to use an elongated fitting (DL-CR 30238) to connect the supply.
Install the adapter body (DL-CR 30219) onto injector. If the injector has an angled inlet, before installing the adapter body you need to fix the adapter strip at the required angle (“0”, “4” or “13” degrees).
Secure the fitting for supply line. To do this, direct the tip of the fitting for supply line to the place of fuel supply and tighten the clamping sleeve of the adapter body. Use 12 mm wrench, to hold the supply connection from turning and use a second 22 mm wrench to tighten the clamping sleeve of the adapter housing.
ATTENTION! The force applied when tightening the clamping sleeve must be 36-40 Nm
Install the bracket with a fitting for the backflow on the injector. The connection must be previously unscrewed, so that it does not interfere with the installation.
After tightening the connection, align its tip with the injector backflow. The fitting is screwed by hand.
ATTENTION! The force applied when the connection for backflow line is tightened should not be too large. It is necessary to check when tightening the seal of the rubber ring to the edges of the injector backflow opening.If the tightening torque is excessive, the rubber ring may twist and lose its tightness.
Features of mounting the adapter on some injectors BOSCH 0445120147, 0445120098
Before installing the adapter body, install the adapter for backflow connection (DL-CR 30419).
Install the adapter body (DL-CR 30219) on the injector.
Screw in the adapter rack fitting for backflow connection (DL-CR 30269) of the Delphi Smart, Denso, Bosch injectors.
ATTENTION! Before tightening combine the hole in the adapter with the tip of the fitting until the hole is completely aligned with the tip of the fitting. The force applied when the connection for backflow line is tightened should not be too large. It is necessary to check when tightening the seal of the rubber ring to the edges of the injector backflow opening.
Features of mounting the adapter on the DENSO injectors
Install the adapter case on the injector (DL-CR 30219).
Secure the fitting for supply line. To do this, direct the tip of the fitting for supply line to the place of fuel supply and tighten the clamping sleeve of the adapter body. Use 12 mm wrench, to hold the supply connection from turning and use a second 22 mm wrench to tighten the clamping sleeve of the adapter housing.
